Kapolda Metro Jaya Vows To Cleaned Up Kampung Ambon from Drugs

Mohammad Fadil Imran, M.Sc., urged Ambon Village in Cengkareng, West Jakarta to be cleared of drug trafficking. Previously, Polda Metro Jaya raided drug dealers in Kampung Bahari, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Wednesday (16/03/2022). "I also ask the Cengkareng Police Chief to clean up Kampung Ambon," said Kapolda Metro Jaya. One of the ways to eradicate drugs is to strengthen the cooperation between each Polres. In addition, the police were also asked to strengthen the drug-free villages in their respective regions. "We also have to strengthen drug-free villages at these three points," said the number one figure at the Polda Metro Jaya. Inspector General Dr. Drs. H. Mohammad Fadil Imran, M.Sc., also reminded other regions to continue to eradicate drugs. The message was conveyed so that there will be no more new drug villages when other drug villages were successfully eradicated. "For the others, I urged that we should prevent any new drug villages from appearing," said the two-star general. Muara Bahari Village in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta was raided on Wednesday (09/03/2022). The village is suspected to be full of drug transactions. A total of 26 people were arrested in the operation. The police also confiscated 350 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and synthetic tobacco. Other than drugs, the police also found and confiscated 1,500 sharp weapons, cash amounting to Rp35 million, as well as various electronic communication equipment. After that, illegal huts suspected of being the location of drug transactions were destroyed by joint officers.
