inp.polri.go.id - The Central Executive Board of the National Police (Polri) KBPP appreciates the policy of the National Police Chief (Kapolri), Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., regarding the recruitment of hafiz Qur'an to the Police Academy. This appreciation was conveyed by the Head of Political Affairs and Inter-Institutional Relations of the National Police KBPP, Muhammad Rapsel Ali.
According to Muhammad Rapsel Ali, who is also the son-in-law of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma'ruf Amin, the recruitment of islamic school boarding graduates, especially those who memorized the Qur'an (hafiz qur'an), to enter the Police Academy is an extraordinary breakthrough and deserves appreciation.
"We from the National Police KBPP give our highest appreciation for the policy of General Listyo Sigit which prioritizes students who memorized the Qur’an to pass the Police Academy," said Rapsel in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/6).
Early last year, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo revealed that Polri had recruited 83 students through the Pro-active Recruitment (Rekpro). The 56 of them are the hafiz Qur'an. The recruitment of them is one of the steps taken by the Police to look for superior human resources (HR).
In addition, Polri wants to give as much space as possible to all elements of society to become members of the Bhayangkara Corps.
“It is clear that those who memorize the Qur’an can make a big contribution and help the Police with their capabilities, especially in educating the public. Therefore, we must support this policy together in the interests of the nation and state. We need Polri members who can be role models in the community and one of them we expect from hafiz. This is an extraordinary breakthrough," said Rapsel Ali.
