Police Senior Inspector Asri Dyini, Head of Kendari Sub-Regional City Police's Operational Department, confirmed on Friday (22/12/23) the mobilization of personnel to secure 57 churches in Kendari during the 2023 Christmas celebrations. He explained that the personnel from sector police stations, with support from Kendari City Sub-Regional Police, will be deployed for this purpose. In specific areas, he detailed the distribution of churches under Kendari Sector Police (2 churches), Kemaraya Sector Police (7 churches), Mandonga Sector Police (8 churches), Poasia Sector Police (8 churches), Ranomeeto Sector Police (5 churches), Konda Sector Police (6 churches), Wolasi Sector Police (2 churches), and Baruga Sector Police (19 churches). Additionally, he stressed that officers at Christmas and New Year security posts have received guidance to monitor nearby churches, alongside the prepared personnel. "Each post is staffed by five personnel, including members from the Indonesian Military, Health Department, Pramuka, National SAR Agency, and Transportation Department.
