Inp.polri.go.id – Kiwirok. Following the voting day on February 14th, 2024, situations in Kiwirok District, Bintang Mountains Regency remain safe and conducive. The safe situation was clearly seen by how people could comfortably carry out their daily activities in the region. The security was also thanks to the involvement and appeals from various local figures who urged people to cast their vote in the election. As for now, the ballots and ballot boxes from the polling stations distribution to KPU are being hindered due to distance and weather issues. However, the distribution is continuously tightly secured by personnel from the police and military. Meanwhile, personnel of the Indonesian Military Force (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (INP) involved in Mantap Brata Operation are still patrolling the area to maintain peace and security of Kiwirok District. On the other hand, the Damai Cartenz Operations PR Chief, Superintendent Bayu Suseno says that throughout the election process in Bintang Mountains, there was no security intervention from the Armed Criminal Group. “Throughout the election process in Bintang Mountains Regency, there was no security intervention from the Armed Criminal Group, either when distributing the election logistics, voting, and vote recapitulation process,” conclude Bayu.
