Inp.polri.go.id – Balige. The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) states that the steps taken by the Indonesian National Police (INP) in securing the F1 Powerboat is part of the future investment for Balige City.
“What has been done by the INP, North Sumatra Regional Police is in actuality is an investment for Balige City and Toba Lake in ensuring that the tourism area is safe,” said Kompolnas Commissioner, Yusuf Warsyim after reviewing the Command Center with the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi in Balige.
He explains that if the international event, which has been held two times, in Lake Toba is going smoothly and securely, people and tourists would obviously take interest and consider visiting the tourist destination.
“Because we saw that the security of the F1 Powerboat is going accordingly, using the technology properly, and hopefully this effectiveness would continue,” said Yusuf Warsyim.
Yusuf adds that as the supervisor of the INP, Kompolnas assessed that compares to last year, there are many changes for this year’s event.
“Such as managing the people or tourists coming to watch the tournament is already different. From what I have seen, all security effort has been centered,” said Yusuf
