inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) inaugurated its new office at the Graha Sentana Building in South Jakarta on Tuesday (5/5/2026), coinciding with the 20th anniversary of Kompolnas.

Kompolnas member Mohammad Choirul Anam stated that the relocation of the building serves as a momentum to strengthen professionalism and integrity in carrying out its oversight function over the Indonesian National Police (INP).

"The theme we chose is professionalism and integrity. Kompolnas must work professionally and with integrity, while ensuring that the police also operate within these guidelines," he said.

He added that the new office is expected to improve the quality of public services, particularly in handling complaints.

"With this new office, we hope that Kompolnas' work will be improved and that public services will be even more optimal," he explained.

Kompolnas is also continuing to develop a digital-based complaints system to make it more accessible while still providing direct services to the public.

"We are improving the digital complaints system, but we will remain open to serve all levels of society," he added.

Concluding his statement, Choirul Anam assessed that the policy banning live streaming for police members while on duty was a positive step in maintaining professionalism.

"The police's primary duty is to serve the public, not create content. Transparency can still be achieved without live streaming," he concluded.

Through this inauguration, Kompolnas reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its oversight role and improving the quality of public services going forward.
