inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) submitted five recommendations to President Prabowo Subianto this year. However, only three of these recommendations are available, with more to come.
The first recommendation is to strengthen the police force based on professionalism, gender equality, and the protection of women and children. The second recommendation is to strengthen the protection of vulnerable groups and the mental health of police personnel.
"Strengthening the police service paradigm in safeguarding democracy," said Kompolnas Commissioner Yusuf on Monday (1/5/2026).
Furthermore, Kompolnas will also begin accepting public complaints through a digitalization process called E-SKM (E-SKM) in 2026. This innovation aims to speed up the follow-up time for reports, from 21 days to just 11 to 14 days.
"By 2026, Kompolnas' target is to receive and follow up on public complaints 100 percent digitally, as it is more effective and efficient. Receiving and following up on public complaints electronically will speed things up. If the delay is 21 days, the time required should be 14 days," he said.
