Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday night (10/12/2025) arrested Central Lampung Regent Ardito Wijaya in a sting operation, known locally as OTT,  in Lampung.

 “It is true, the Central Lampung Regent has been detained," said KPK Deputy Chair Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed in Jakarta, as reported by antaranews.com

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo later detailed the operation, which began with requests for information from several people in Jakarta and Lampung on Tuesday.

“From there, the team conducted a hand-catching operation in Central Lampung on 10 December and arrested five people, including Ardito Wijaya,” he said.

All five detainees have been transported to the KPK’s Merah Putih Building for intensive questioning. 

Under Indonesia’s Criminal Procedure Code, the KPK has 1×24 hours to determine Ardito’s legal status. The operation marks the agency’s eighth sting operations in 2025, adding to a series of corruption stings targeting regional officials across multiple provinces.
