Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) has declared Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President Elect of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029.
"The results of the national General Election from Clause One to Clause Five were determined on Wednesday, 20 March 2024, at 10:18:19 pm ," KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari announced on Wednesday (20/3/2024).
Prabowo-Gibran obtained 96,214,691 votes, while Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar 40,971,906 votes, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md 27,040,878 votes. The total valid votes amounted to 164,227,475, as reported by antaranews.com
Prabowo-Gibran led in 36 provinces, while Anies-Muhaimin secured the highest vote share in two provinces. However, Ganjar-Mahfud did not win in any provinces.
The inauguration of the elected President and Vice President is scheduled for October 20, 2024.
