General Election Commission (KPU) suggest the candidates who runs for 2024 General Elections not to throw insults against one another. He expects that the campaigns would goes smoothly without any conflicts.
“There are commitments that has been pledged by election participants to jointly hold a fair 2024 General Election, particularly in its campaign by not throwing insults to one another,” says KPU Chair Hasyim Asyri in Central Jakarta on Monday (11/24/2023).
Hasyim also expected each campaign teams from each candidates to also comply with his wish, which to bring forth programs and goals of candidates.
According him, campaign is a moment for the candidates to showcase their programs and benefits, to invite the public in giving their votes to them.
“Show more of your positive sides because in general, campaign is a moment for you to convince the public to vote for you because of your positive aspects and competitive advantages from other candidates," he explained.
