Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) forbids the invited guests to brought campaign props in the 2024 presidential election debate. "During the debate, around the debate arena, as we all know, supporters are prohibited to bring any campaign props," says KPU Chief Hasyim Asy'ari in Jakarta on Monday (12/11/2023). Hasyim explains that the permitted attributes or props are those that attached to the body, such as clothes. Later on, KPU will screened the invited guests before entering the debate arena. Guests will have to drop the attributes or campaign props if found by the organizing officials. "Upon entering the arena, teams from KPI will conduct some kind of screening or sterilization operation to ensure no campaign props entering the debate arena," adds Hasyim. The first 2024 General Election debate for presidential candidate will be held in KPU office, Jakarta. The Debate will officially begun on Tuesday (12/12/2023) at 19:00 pm. The theme for the Tuesday's debate is government, law, human rights, graft eradication, democracy strengthening, public service improvement, and social harmony. ad/ndt/pr/nm
