Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The 2024 General Election of Presidential and Vice-Presidential first debate will soon be held at General Election Commission (KPU) Office. The debate will officially be held on Tuesday (12/12/2023) at 19:00 pm. On the first presidential debate, two public broadcasting institutions TVRI and RRI will have the first chance to broadcast the debate, live. The next debate will then be broadcasted by private broadcasting institutions. The first debate will raise the theme of government, law, human rights, graft eradication, democracy strengthening, public service improvement, and public harmony. Regarding the debate security, Indonesian National Police (INP) Security Maintenance Agency Chief, Commissioner General Fadil Imran states that INP is ready to secure the debate. "We already have pre-emptive task force, preventive task force, and public relation task force, and all of them are ready to secure the debate," says Fadil quoted from Antara on Sunday (12/10/2023). Fadil emphasized that his party have also designed security operation meticulously to prevent any disturbance and disruptions during the debate. "I think it's all good as we have prepared our designs for security operations. We have also completed our security assessment before the event," conclude Fadil. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
