Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta General Election Committee (KPU) has established a special polling station at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) to facilitate voting for both employees and patients during the 2024 election.
Uud Cahyono, the hospital's law and public relations manager, announced on Wednesday (14/2/2024) the inauguration of this dedicated polling station, identified with the code 901, specifically tailored for hospital staff and patients.
With 235 individuals registered on the Permanent Voter List and an additional 123 voters enlisted at the hospital's polling station, he explained.
Cahyono said employees residing outside Jakarta were among the initial registrants, followed by those planning to vote on-site and the hospitalized patients, ensuring their right to cast their ballots.
Equipped with necessary voting materials like ballot papers, booths, and other essentials, election organizer officers (PPS) extended the voting process to every inpatient's room.
Among the patients participating in the election, 66-year-old Siskawati expressed her enthusiasm despite her illness. She articulated her aspirations for the future president-elect, advocating for economic stability and lower commodity prices.
