Inp.polri.go.id - Kudus. The Kudus Sub-regional Police in Central Java registered 548 vulnerable workers across Kudus Regency as active beneficiaries under the National Health Insurance-Indonesian Health Card (JKN-KIS) program.
The social initiative, organized in collaboration with the Kudus Regency administration, aims to guarantee essential healthcare access for economically vulnerable community members.
Kudus Police Chief Police Superintendent Wahyu Sulistyo officially handed over JKN-KIS cards to recipient representatives during a ceremony at the Kudus Police Headquarters on Monday (12/10/2026)). The event was attended by BPJS Kesehatan Supervisory Board Member Afif Johan.
"This program represents a social and humanitarian partnership between Kudus Police and the local government, targeting 548 vulnerable workers, including small vendors, motorcycle taxi drivers, mosque caretakers, and parking attendants," he said.
Chief Sulistyo noted that active health coverage mitigates financial risks for low-income workers when medical care is required, ensuring equal access to standard healthcare services without heavy out-of-pocket costs.
Under the "Police with the Community" framework, police institutions continue to expand social protection measures alongside routine public safety enforcement to support vulnerable populations.
