Inp.polri.go.id - Bandarlampung. Lampung Regional Police urged local residents to prioritize safety during the Eil Al Adha and Vesak long holiday, anticipating heavy traffic across tourist destinations and inter-district routes.

“Prepare your journey carefully, from vehicle condition to home security. Safety must be the top priority,” said Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, the Head of Public Relations at the Lampung Police on Sunday (31/5/2026).

She advised drivers to check brakes, lights, tires, and fuel before traveling, and to avoid driving when fatigued. Residents leaving home were reminded to secure electricity, gas, and locks, and to inform neighbors or local leaders of their absence.

Lampung Police also promoted the Siger Lampung Presisi app, which provides real-time traffic updates, CCTV access, and security information to help travelers plan safer routes.

“Through the app, people can monitor road conditions and avoid congestion,” Chief Yuni explained.
