"The law is an instrument for safeguarding the nation's wealth. Without the nation's wealth, it would be impossible for our people to prosper," said President Prabowo on Friday (4/10/2026).

He considered law enforcement a crucial foundation for ensuring that state assets are optimally managed and utilized for the benefit of the wider community.

On that occasion, President Prabowo highlighted various violations that still occur and harm the state, ranging from corruption, smuggling, illegal mining, to abuse of authority.

He reiterated his commitment to impartially prosecuting lawbreakers to protect state assets.

"I will use all the authority and power granted by the 1945 Constitution to the President of the Republic of Indonesia to enforce the law without discrimination," he asserted.

In this regard, President Prabowo instructed law enforcement officials, as well as relevant ministries and institutions, to strengthen coordination in eradicating various forms of violations that harm state finances.

He emphasized that safeguarding state assets is a form of civil service dedication to the people, while highlighting the practice of robbering the nation's wealth that has persisted for far too long.

"Working in government is a sacrifice and a form of service. For far too long, the nation's and the people's wealth has been plundered," he said.

President Prabowo called on all elements of the nation to uphold the values ​​of honesty and justice, and to strengthen the spirit of nationalism as the foundation of national development. He acknowledged that decisive action in defending people's rights would inevitably face challenges.
