Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck southwest of West Pesisir Regency, Lampung, on Thursday morning (23/7/2026) at approximately 2.46 am.

"#Gempa Mag:3.6, 23-Jul-2026 02:46:10 WIB, Lok:5.57LS, 103.70BT (49 km BaratDaya PESISIRBARAT-LAMPUNG), Kedlmn:33 Km," the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported via its official X account.

According to BMKG, the epicenter was located at coordinates 5.57 South Latitude and 103.70 East Longitude, roughly 49 kilometers southwest of Pesisir Barat at a depth of 33 kilometers. 

The agency noted that the initial data prioritizes real-time speed and remains subject to further adjustment as additional seismic information is processed. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were reported.
