Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck West Southeast Maluku on Tuesday (14/7/2026) at 6.05 am local time, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The epicenter was located approximately 197 kilometers northwest of the region at a depth of 160 kilometers.
"This information prioritizes speed, so the data processing results are not yet stable and may change as more data becomes available," BMKG said via its official X account.
No immediate casualties or structural damages were reported following the deep-focus undersea tremor. Authorities advise residents to remain calm and monitor official updates.
