Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported a magnitude 4.5 earthquake northwest of Melonguane, North Sulawesi, on Sunday (31/5/2026) at 10.13 am.
The quake’s epicenter was located at 4.16°N and 126.63°E, approximately 18 kilometers northwest of Melonguane, at a depth of 85 kilometers. BMKG said that the information was released quickly and may be updated as further data becomes available.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties were issued, but authorities continue to monitor the situation. Residents were advised to remain calm and follow official guidance.
