Traffic Corps Promote Road Safety with Drivers, Disabled in Jepara
Inp.polri.go.id - Jepara. Indonesia National Police (INP)’s Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho attended the “Polantas Menyapa” (traffic police greeting) program in Jepara, Central Java, on Saturday (30/5/2026) to strengthen ties with communities, including online motorcycle drivers and disabled groups, while promoting road safety.
“This program ensures police are close to the public, serving sincerely. Today we also welcome our disabled friends who have been supported by local police,” he said.
Chief Agus praised innovations by the Central Java Regional Police’s Traffic Directorate and Jepara Sub-regional Police, including facilities for disabled communities. The campaign encourages collective responsibility for safe and orderly traffic nationwide.
Police also inspected community kitchens and tested specially designed vehicles for disabled drivers, underscoring inclusivity in mobility.
Chief Agus said that the program reflects national directives to improve public trust and safety awareness. By engaging diverse groups, the police aim to reduce accidents and foster stronger cooperation between law enforcement and society.
