On another occasion, Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police Senior Superintendent Ibrahim Tompo said the need for supervision for personnel in the field in securing Christmas and New Year's Day was to prevent possible violation by on-duty police personnel and to provide the best and humane service to the community.
