Chief of the Sidoarjo Police Senior Superintendent Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro appreciated personnel of the Sidoarjo Police, the Indonesian Military, local administration heads, the Sidoarjo residents and other stakeholders for the safe and conducive security during the 2022 Christmas and the 2023 New Year holiday. "Thank God, the implementation of the 2022 Lilin Semeru Operation to secure the 2022 Christmas Day and the 2023 New Year in the Sidoarjo Regency area run smoothly, safely and conducive. Up to day, the security is under control  and we must continue to maintain it," he said as quoted by jawapes.or.id on Monday (2/1/23). The chief expected the Sidoarjo Police, the Indonesian Military  and other relevant stakeholders remained solid and united and that  the success of the security operation continues in the future.
