Inp.polri.go.id - Malang. The Malang Sub-regional Police have announced a permanent reinforcement of security patterns for all Arema FC home matches at Kanjuruhan Stadium to ensure long-term public safety and order.

"We are expanding the security perimeter to include Rings 3 and 4; this sustainable scheme will be consistently applied moving forward," said Malang Police Chief Superintendent Muhammad Taat Resdi on Monday (20/4/2026), as cited by  antaranews.com.

The enhanced strategy involves rigorous body checks and vehicle inspections at major access points, such as the Yonzipur intersection. During a recent match against Persis Solo, officers intercepted 54 supporters carrying 33 bottles of alcohol. 

This approach serves as a trial run for high-risk fixtures, including the upcoming "East Java Derby" against Persebaya Surabaya.
