The Task Force of Operation Mantap Brata Salawaku, under the Maluku Regional Police, safeguarded the distribution of additional election ballots to Aru Islands Regency, Tanimbar Islands, and Southwest Maluku  via air routes from Pattimura International Airport in Ambon on Sunday (4/2/2024). "The security measures for the distribution of election logistics, particularly the additional ballots, have been in place since this morning. The ballots are being sent via aircraft from Pattimura Airport in Ambon," said the Head of Public Relations Unit of Maluku Police, Senior Superintendent M. Rum Ohoirat. For the Rregional General Election Comission (KPU) Aru and Tanimbar, the ballots were transported using a Wings Air aircraft. The shipment included ballots for the legislative council for KPU Aru, ballots for the House of Representatives and legislative councils for KPU Tanimbar, and  ballots for the Regional Representative Council, House of Representatives,, legislative councils for KPU Southwest Maluku. "Throughout the escort and security operations, the transportation of ballot logistics proceeded smoothly and without any issues," Chief Rum said. (mg/mz/pr/nm)
