Inp.polri.go.id - Ambon. The Maluku Regional Police have finalized all security preparations for President Prabowo Subianto’s upcoming visit to Kepulauan Tanimbar on Thursday. 

The President is scheduled to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Blok Masela National Strategic Project (PSN).

"The Blok Masela groundbreaking is a strategic momentum that will strengthen national energy security and boost investor confidence in Indonesia," said Maluku Police Chief Inspector General Dadang Hartanto on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

The Maluku Police has implemented a multi-layered security framework, closely coordinating with the military, the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres), local administration, the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), and PT INPEX Masela Ltd, the operator of the large-scale Abadi LNG Project in the Masela Block. 

Joint teams conducted extensive field inspections, evaluating the main event area, VVIP stage, evacuation routes, communication networks, and surrounding vital objects to ensure the presidential visit runs smoothly and securely.
