Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho opened the 2026 Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) Cup Shooting Championship in Palembang on Wednesday (15/7/2026). 

Held to commemorate the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the competition serves as a strategic platform to strengthen internal solidarity and inter-agency synergy across the region.

"We must realize that in the police force, we are not 'Superman' who can do everything alone. Instead, what we are building is a 'Super Team'," said Chief Sandi Nugroho, urging personnel to eliminate sectoral egos.

South Sumatra Police head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Nandang Mu’min Wijaya added that the championship tests emotional control and mental discipline. He emphasized that building a unified vision is crucial for the joint mission of protecting the province, ensuring that the regional law enforcement alliance remains solid, resistant to external provocations, and fully dedicated to maintaining public safety.
