Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The Medan City Sub-regional Police have arrested four suspects linked to the planned arson attack on the home of Medan District Court Judge Khamozaro Waruwu, which investigators say stemmed from personal revenge.

“We arrested four suspects, identified as FA, S, HS, and MM,” Medan Police Chief Senior  Superintendent Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak said on Friday (21/11/2025), as cited by antaranews.com 

He confirmed that the fire was not accidental but had been deliberately orchestrated.

Suspect, FA, a former employee of the judge, acted as the primary perpetrator and set the fire out of personal resentment. After igniting the judge’s bedroom, suspect FA allegedly stole valuables from the residence. 

The other three suspects played roles in selling the stolen items. Suspects S and HS allegedly helped suspect FA sell the judge’s jewelry, while suspect MM was identified as the buyer of the stolen goods. 

Investigators seized cash, gold, a motorcycle, clothing, and tools used in the crime. Police examined 48 witnesses during the investigation.
