Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto, accompanied by his key officials directly inspect the security operations in the 43rd ASEAN Summit venues. “The inspection by the police chief is to make sure that the 43rd ASEAN Summit runs smoothly and without any disturbance. Thanks to cooperation with Indonesian Military Force (TNI), everything runs well,” said Metro Jaya Traffic Director Grand Commissioner Latif Usman. He stated that other than security operations, Metro Jaya Police also prepared traffic engineering since Tuesday morning to reduce traffic congestion during Summit. “TNI and INP have prepared well planned traffic engineering that have been implemented since this morning. We saw there are no traffic congestion from Gatot Subroto to JCC Senayan,” explained Latif.
