Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police is investigating a Facebook group titled “Fantasi Sedarah” (literally incest fantasy)  that circulated incest-related content and sparked outrage among Indonesian netizens.

“The group has been shut down or suspended or deleted by Meta for rule violations,” confirmed Senior Superintendent Roberto Pasaribu, the Metro Jaya Police Director of Cyber, on Friday (16/5/2025).

The police are also working with Meta and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs  to trace those behind the account.

“We’ve coordinated with the Cyber Directorate to investigate and examine this Facebook account,” said Superintendent Reonald Simanjuntak, the Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Information Unit on Friday (16/5/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Indonesian netizens were recently shocked by the Facebook group, which had thousands of members. The group drew widespread condemnation for allowing users to share deviant experiences involving their own family members.
