Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police in Jakarta has unveiled the results of its "Pekat" operation, aimed at addressing social issues, spanning from 1 to 15 March 2024.
Director of General Crime Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Senior Superintendent Wira Satya Triputra, said the operation revealed 352 cases involving 409 suspects, in collaboration with various police precincts.
Among the cases, three murders were reported, with notable instances of motor vehicle theft, totaling 182 cases. Additionally, the operation exposed 14 cases of violent theft, 59 cases of aggravated theft, and various other offenses, including gambling and extortion.
During the operation, police seized significant evidence, including vehicles, firearms, and cash. Perpetrators will face legal action, with their cases handed over to the public prosecutor.
"We are committed to thorough processing of perpetrators and swift transfer of case files," Chief Wira said
