Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police has announced the launch of a dedicated hotline service aimed at providing the public with valuable information regarding ongoing cases. This initiative was revealed by the Chief of Jakarta Police Inspector General Karyoto during a gathering of investigators on Thursday (11/5/2023).
"We are committed to providing an opportunity for individuals who have been involved in cases within our jurisdiction and still have unresolved complaints. Therefore, we will soon introduce a dedicated hotline," he explained as quoted by iNews.
The two-star general went on to announce that the hotline service will be launched within the next one to two days, utilizing a dedicated WhatsApp number exclusively for addressing incoming complaints. This WhatsApp service will equip the public with timely updates on the progress of their reported cases, thereby fostering transparency and accountability throughout our investigative processes.
"We will utilize a single WhatsApp number instead of multiple numbers, avoiding an excessive multitude. Having numerous numbers would make it challenging for us to efficiently filter and manage the incoming communications. By maintaining a singular dedicated number, we will be able to thoroughly assess and actively work towards resolving each complaint," he said.
