inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding asked Minister of Manpower Yassierli to prepare a special cluster to prepare migrant workers.

"We ask the Minister of Manpower to have a special cluster so we can better direct our focus. We should not mix the manpower prepared for domestic and abroad as they should receive different approaches," requested the Minister of P2MI, on Monday (4/14/2025).

He gave an example, the welding workforce between Japan and Korea is different. Therefore, it must be prepared optimally.

"I have seen how different they are. We will later discuss the issue together with the Ministry of Manpower as the authority responsible for the matter," said the Minister Yassierli.

Regarding the special cluster, he said, it should be formed as soon as possible.

Lastly, what must also be talked about is how many workers are prepared to meet the needs of the domestic industry and how many for overseas needs.
