inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto, pushed the Central Sulawesi to accelerate and collaborate in making the food security program a success.

In his statement, he says that the central government must work hard in realizing the program, both from the commitment in absorbing the farm product, support the availability of fertilizer, and build agricultural irrigation infrastructure.

“We have a strong commitment to ensure that Bulog can absorb the farm products, but it would be for nothing if there is no support from the local government,” says Bima Arya on Monday (4/14/2025).

Bima Arya notes that there are several local governments that still do not understand the concept of food security programs.

For that reason, Bima encouraged governors, regents, and mayors to diligently check the situation at the field, including checking the availability of fertilizer, absorption of farmers' rice, and the progress of agricultural irrigation development.

According to him, one of the keys to the success of the food self-sufficiency program is good cooperation from governors, regents, and mayors.

He also asked regional heads to work together to realize the program for the benefit of the people.

He believes that with the hard work of all parties, Central Sulawesi Province will be a good example in making the program a success.

"I strongly believe that Central Sulawesi can be an example for the provincial level for free health," he concluded.
