inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Youth and Sport, Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo reminds the administrators of the 13 sport branches that received a total budget of IDR 420.2 billion disbursed by the ministry to avoid gratification in the use of the budget.
"I stressed to you all that there must be no kickbacks or gratification in any form," he said, as reported by the Antaranews, Monday (4/14/2025).
Ario explained that the recipients of budget support in the first phase were sports branches that had qualified for the 2024 Olympics, in addition to the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI).
He revealed that PSSI is a strategic sport based on the Presidential Instruction regarding the acceleration of national football development.
Furthermore, he also explained that all budget assistance distributed had gone through a comprehensive evaluation by an independent team involving academics and sports experts.
"This is a very long process and God we assure you accountability and transparency can be guaranteed," he explained.
At the end of the opportunity, he added, the budget must be used to support long-term, uninterrupted training camps as part of the preparation for the upcoming SEA Games, Asian Games, and Olympics.
