inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi asked institutions engaged in the transportation sector to improve the quality of public communication.

According to him, transportation is one of the important components in running a country. For that, information about transportation must be conveyed well to the people.

"Transportation is important. The prosperity of a country is determined by how we manage our transportation. So, it is important for us to be able to communicate what we do well to the people," said the Minister of Transportation on Thursday (10/17/2024).

The Minister of Transportation assessed that many transportation institution services and technologies have not been well socialized among the public. Whereas, it is important for institutions to improve the way they communicate to the public.

"We often face some challenges, such as transportation accidents and so on. In this situation, we need to learn the substance of the situation and how to properly convey it," said Minister Budi.

He also encouraged the communication team in each institution to learn the concept of communication that can properly reach the community.
