inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Staff of Indonesian National Police (INP) Human Resources launches Digital Police English Training (Dpetc). The application demonstrates concrete efforts to continue to innovate and create various breakthroughs to develop the potential and capabilities of INP personnel in order to prepare superior human resources who play an important role towards 2045 Golden Indonesia.

Assistant for Chief of INP Human Resources Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo says that the aim of DPETC is to facilitate INP personnel who take part in IELTS test for the LPDP scholarship

"So members can prepare for IELTS tests from reading, listening, writing and speaking. They can study anywhere and anytime in their spare time. With DPETC, members can see their scores in real time so they can measure how far their English skills are," said Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo on Friday (10/18/2024).

He explained that the Dpetc application also has IELTS preparation tools such as dictionary, grammar, exercise, police rank, police position and other supporting features for learning English. The Dpetc application complements vocational education at the Language School (Sebasa) of the National Police Education and Training Institute.

The process of creating and compiling questions in the Dpetc application, he said, also coordinates with the National Police Education and Training Institute Language School to maintain standards and quality and be adaptive to the development of foreign languages.

Meanwhile, the number of graduates of overseas LPDP scholarships from INP shows an increasing graph from year to year. From the initial two members in 2016, to 31 people in 2024.

With all the support and facilities available, he said,  Staff of INP Human Resources is determined to continue to increase the number of prospective LPDP overseas scholarships from the police institution with a target of 100 police members each year.

"With more thorough preparation, we hope that more police members can pass IELTS and get LPDP scholarships at the world's best universities," wished Dedi in conclusion
