Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi is optimistic about infrastructure development improving the performance of ministry employees, during the inauguration of 19 regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) office buildings within the Directorate General of SDPPI Resources and Equipment of Posts and Informatics (SDPPI) on Friday (2/2/2024). This involves advancing 5G and 6G technologies to prevent the region's internet connectivity from falling behind, a commitment embraced by all Ministry of Communication and Information Technology levels. "I urge colleagues to strengthen the functions of SDPPI's Directorate General, addressing challenges in the frequency spectrum domain. Utilize measurement automation for increased accuracy and management efficiency," he said. Additionally, he emphasized their responsibility to conserve and manage Indonesia's radio frequency spectrum, recognizing it as a limited yet crucial natural resource.
