"We will coordinate with a number of parties to obtain land locations that can immediately be used as housing construction locations," said the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas, Maruarar Sirait on Thursday (10/24/2024).

In his statement, he stated that the land bank was obtained from a number of government institutions, local governments and the private sector. His party has held meetings with a number of leaders of government institutions to obtain information regarding data on land that can be utilized.

Minister Maruarar says that his party will try to obtain the land for free by choosing the land that is fixed and cleared to be confiscated by the government so that the development process can run smoothly.

"We have coordinated and sent a letter to obtain data on land that can be used. This land bank can be obtained from the Attorney General's Office, the Corruption Eradication Committee, the TNI, the Polri, BUMN, the Private Sector, the Provincial Government and the Regency," he said.
