Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra confirmed on Tuesday (16/9/2025) that he is working with the Indonesian National Police (INP) and Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police to trace three men reported missing after the late-August demonstrations.
“The names have already been handed to the police, and they were also mentioned by KontraS as those missing,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com, referring to the. Commission for the Disappeared and Victims of Violence.
The missing persons are identified as Bima Permana Putra, Muhammad Farhan Hamid, and Reno Syaputradewo. Despite the police opening a missing persons desk for a week, no family members have filed direct reports. Instead, the complaint was first raised by KontraS.
Minister Yusril urged that if the men are safe and free, they should immediately report their whereabouts to police or media to avoid speculation. Meanwhile, Jakarta Police said a dedicated post has been set up to handle reports as they continue searching.
