inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Social Affairs Ministry and the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) integrate single data for social housing programs.

The Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf says that the single data updating will be carried out through two approaches, from the formal route via Development Planning (Musrenbang) mechanism from village to national level, as well as the participation route.

“These processes will ensure that the data acquired is according to the needs of the field. While the second approach, the participation route, enables the public to convey their input, suggestion, or complaint about the data,” explains Saifullah Yusuf.

Furthermore, Minister Saifullah also has various programs that relate to the social housing needs, such as the Family Hope Program (PKH), sanitation programs, and decent housing.

Meanwhile, the Vice Minister of Housing and Settlements Fahri Hamzah says that a solid single data integration is part of national socio-economic registration data.

“The Social Affairs Ministry has such a massive data on housing, so we were given some of those data which we immediately integrated to be part of the national socio-economic registration data. This would be the single data that would help us advocate for the general condition of society from a social perspective," said Fahri.

He says that his party will work on the three levels, first, prepare all the regulations needed to intensify housing work throughout Indonesia, second, data integration which is targeted to be completed in March 2025.

“And lastly is institutional collaboration as the resources are in each of them,” explains Fahri.

The Social Affairs Ministry and the Housing and Settlements Ministry. The team will focus on data integration, strengthening regulations, and integrating programs in the field.
