inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) is conducting artificial intelligence (AI) modeling tests to diagnose diseases more precisely in order to realize precision medicine.

Chief Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Ministry of Health, Setiaji, emphasized that the use of AI will be optimized for non-clinical health services first so that its impact can reach more people.

However, he wants that the technology should be improved more on how to diagnose, handle the disease, and others to improve its use for the upcoming future. This is due to the AI technology that is already able to be used for non-clinical health services such as hypertension, diabetes, and even to describe the results of weighing children at integrated service posts.

He said that in addition to preparing AI models in several hospitals, the Ministry of Health is also optimizing AI to improve queuing services.

"On another topic, we also aim to improve the health service, which mostly revolves around queueing. As we all know now, most hospitals can be queued digitally, however we still have to queue when we come directly to the hospital, and this is the challenge that we aim to resolve,” says Setiaji on Tuesday (10/1/2024).

The Chief DTO of the Ministry of Health also said that currently 60 percent of health facilities in Indonesia have been integrated with the One Healthy system.

"Starting from hospitals, laboratories to primary services have been integrated with the Satu Sehat system, and the public can access their medical records through the Satu Sehat application. Now the Satu Sehat application can be accessed by logging in yourself with the Digital Population Identity (IKD)," concluded Setiaji.
