inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Population and Family Development is establishing family service posts along the 2026 Eid homecoming route to ensure public safety during travel.
Family service posts are located at various strategic points along the 2026 Eid homecoming route across 31 provinces, serving as stopovers for travelers to rest and obtain family consultations and reproductive health information.
Wihaji stated in Jakarta on Monday that the presence of the family service posts is a form of government support to ensure that people's homecoming journeys are safer, more comfortable, and still prioritize family health.
"We have prepared several locations for posts from our ministry related to family services. We also offer consultations and contraceptive services," said Wihaji on Monday (3/16/2026).
He explained that the family service posts are located at several points frequently traveled by travelers during the Eid homecoming and return journeys, such as terminals, airports, train stations, ports, and other strategic routes.
Most of the posts established by the Ministry of Education and Culture/BKKBN are affiliated with the Operation Ketupat Posts managed by the Indonesian National Police (INP).
Through this collaboration, people not only receive traffic security from the police but can also utilize family consultation services, reproductive health education, and information on contraceptive services for couples of childbearing age.
People wishing to utilize these services simply need to visit the family service posts located along the homecoming routes. Officers at the posts will help direct them according to their service needs, ranging from family consultations, reproductive health education, to information on contraceptive services.
