The General Inspectorate of Religious Ministry launched Fraud Control Plan (FCP) program to enhance aid monitoring transparency. “The implementation of FCP becomes crucial as there are misuse potential in the implementation of aid provision in Ministry of Religion,” says Inspector General of Religious Ministry, Faisal Ali Hasyim in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/18/2023). He states that the program was designed as instrument to prevent, detect, and respond the fraud in the organization. He says, the initiation of FCP was conceived by the Investigation Inspectorate as monitoring strategic measures based on preventive approach. “FCP is a conception to prevent and overcome integrated corruption,” says Faisal. According to him, the system of fraud monitoring is proof of Religious Ministry in efforts to eradicate corruption. Meanwhile, the Investigation Inspector, who is also the initiator of FCP program, Ahmadun, says that the implementation of FCP is aimed to realize a better and transparent management in the ministry. He explains that governmental provision is one of the biggest budgeting components in Religious Ministry. He assessed there is a huge risk that there would be a corruption practice in managing the budget. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
