"We've identified the locations of state ships operating in various regions, both at ports and in maritime areas, to ensure a fast emergency response," Director General of Sea Transportation, Antoni Arif Priadi, said during a virtual press conference on Sunday (17/3/224). A total of 1,341 commercial vessels have been readied to transport travelers this year, accommodating up to 241,304 passengers, as reported by antaranews.com Director General Antoni highlighted that this Eid season is expected to witness 3,009,595 passengers traveling home by sea, marking a 39.34% increase from the previous Christmas and New Year 2023 homecoming period.
