PBVSI Summons 14 National Players Ahead of Red Sparks Match

The Indonesian Volleyball Association's Central Board (PBVSI) has summoned 14 players from the national women's volleyball team in preparation for a match against the Korean League team, Red Sparks scheduled on 20 April 2024 at the Indonesia Arena in Senayan, Jakarta. PBVSI Secretary-General Heyzer Harsono explained on Sunday (17/3/2024) that the summoned players are expected to join the team's preparations in Jakarta two or three days before the exhibition match, as reported by antaranews.com Meanwhile, Loudry Maspaitella, the Vice Chairman of PBVSI's Performance Development Division and appointed team manager, said that the national team would field a shadow team against the Red Sparks, currently bolstered by Indonesian star Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi. The selected players, based on observations from various events held in the country, will join the team in preparation.
