inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Indonesian National Police (Polri) declared the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, a success. The event took place from October 3 to 5, 2025.
The entire event took place safely, orderly, and smoothly without a single significant incident. This success is a clear testament to the professionalism of the security forces, especially the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police, who were at the forefront in overseeing the prestigious international event.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force for the Mandalika Rinjani 2025 Operation, Senior Superintendent Mohammad Kholid, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the hard work of all parties involved. He stated that there were no incidents of disruption during the MotoGP event.
"The MotoGP event from October 3 to 5, 2025, ran very safely and smoothly. There were no incidents that disrupted the event, either inside or outside the circuit area. This is the result of strong collaboration between the police, military, the Provincial Government, and the district/city governments throughout Lombok Island," said Senior Superintendent Kholid, Sunday (10/4/2025).
In this security operation, thousands of personnel were deployed at various strategic points, from the circuit area to the supporting routes throughout Lombok Island. Not only relying on security on land, police also put their forces on standby in sea and air areas to anticipate any potential disruptions to transportation and security in tourist areas.
"We have also taken preventive and preemptive measures from the start, including monitoring all entry points to Lombok Island, both ports and airports. The goal is to ensure the situation remains conducive and free from threats that could disrupt the event," he explained.
