Inp.polri.go.id – Mandalika. The traffic engineering applied by West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Traffic Directorate states there are no severe traffic jams during MotoGP Mandalika. This was stated by Director of Traffic Unit of NTB Police, Grand Commissioner Djoni Widodo on Monday (10/16/2023).
“For three days of MotoGP event, traffic situation is going smoothly, although there were several points from Airport Roundabout to Mandalika Circuit who were having slight congestion,” says the Director quoted from detiknews.
According to him, the contra flow measurement across routes to Mandalika Circuit is proven effective enough to disentangle vehicles on the road.
“Other than implementing contra flow, our complete traffic infrastructures around Mandalik Circuit area also became the factor of our success in maintaining traffic situation. We have implored the spectators to use motorcycles and busses prepared by NTB Province Department of Transportation. It has proven effective in managing the traffic,” he explains.
