Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, reveals the total number of MotoGP Mandalika spectators reached 102,929 people. This number proves that MotoGP Mandalika scene in Indonesia is on the rise.
“This has become the highest number since 2022 we have reached 73,129, while now we have reached 102,801. This indicates that the market for the races included in the world calendar is starting to be mapped out," he said, Monday (16/10/23).
According to Erick, most of MotoGP spectators came from Jakarta, East Java, Bali and Lombok. The increase number of spectators must be studied by MotoGP Mandalika management so that this trend would continue in the future.
“There are several additional activities from MSMEs and others who also helps attracts foreign and local tourist in improving local economic growth,” said Erick quoted from antaranews.
Moreover, Erick also appreciates positive collaboration and synergy between State-Owned Enterprises, such as Injourney, ITDC, Pertamina, and other enterprises who support the success of the event.
