Inp.polri.go.id - Muara Enim. The Muara Enim Sub-regional Police organized a series of social assistance and community service activities in Air Talas Village, also known as Trans Bali Village, in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, on Saturday, (13/6/2026) in commemoration of the upcoming 80th Bhayangkara Day .

"Bhayangkara Day is a momentum to bring the police force closer to the community," said the Chief of the Muara Enim Police, Superintendent Hendri Syaputra. "Through social initiatives and care for the environment and houses of worship, we aim to deliver tangible benefits while strengthening the spirit of togetherness."

Police officers collaborated with local residents to clean the premises of a local Hindu temple and provided sanitation equipment to support the maintenance of the house of worship. The police distributed basic food packages to families in need and presented financial assistance to local customary leaders to support upcoming religious activities and cultural preservation.

The program aligns with the South Sumatra Regional Police directive championed by Chief Inspector General Polisi Dr. Sandi Nugroho, which encourages daily acts of public service.

South Sumatra Police Head of the Public Relations Senior SuperintendentNandang Mu’min Wijaya said that the initiative reflects the police's core role as a protector, guardian, and servant of the public.
