inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police announced that the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force had been deactivated since August 2020. However, the Head of General Information of National Police's PR, Brigadier General. Pol. Rusdi Hartono, ensured that the National Police would continue to process the law if Indonesian Football Association found the involvement of the soccer mafia in regulating the match.
"Please report the things that violate the Police. Then, of course, the National Police will follow up on building football in Indonesia so that it can develop well," explained General Information Chief Bureau at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday (11/23/2021).
General Information Chief Bureau explained that the National Police continued to help resolve alleged criminal acts in the Indonesian football league. Because all Regional Police have been ordered to form a regional-level Anti-Mafia Ball, Task Force. For example, the East Java Regional Police have formed the Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force and have handled one case, namely the alleged match-fixing in the Indonesian 3rd League.
"So, the National Police continue to fully support this national football competition so that it can run well," he continued.
Therefore, the public is advised to report to the Police if they suspect violations during a football match because the National Police Headquarters may reactivate the Anti-Mafia Ball, Task Force.
"We will see further developments in the future. What is clear is that although there is no Anti-Mafia Ball Task Force, the National Police fully supports the Football Association of Indonesia. Please report to the National Police if there are violations," explained the One-Star General.
